Hosted by

nance.jpgTerence Nance is more than just a filmmaker. He's also a visual and performance artist, and an accomplished musician; he writes and performs his music under the name Terence Etc. His debut feature film as writer/director, An Oversimplification of Her Beauty, centers around a young artist (played by Nance) who engages in an ambiguous relationship with a lovely young woman, played by Namik Minter. After she stands him up, he becomes lost in a world of contemplation, embellished with animation and music, centering around a single moment in time. The film premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festivals, and Filmmaker magazine recently named Nance one of the 25 new faces of independent film.
