KCRW DJ Raul Campos will kick off our Chinatown Summer Nights series this Saturday, August 7 with a DJ set from 8 to 11pm in the Grand Plaza (located just off Broadway at Gin Ling Way). In fact, KCRW DJs will be rockin’ the dancefloor (literally, they built a dancefloor!) every Saturday this month to provide the soundtrack for this new series, which also includes cooking demonstrations, art installations and video projections, as well as LA’s favorite new trend – GOURMET FOOD TRUCKS!
The whole event takes place from 5pm to midnight and is sponsored by the Community Redevelopment Agency, Chinatown and KCRW. It’s also ALL AGES, so bring the family.
