KCRW Presents: Ready for the Weekend

Written by

How’s it possible that spring 2019 shows are already being booked?! I’m in soft-denial of it all, but it’s happening and they’re going to be good! These are the most recent shows we’ve added to our KCRW Presents calendar.

Lean on Me: Jose James Celebrates Bill Withers at The Troubadour on Wednesday, November 7

Julia Holter at the Lodge Room on Saturday, March 9

José González & The String Theory at the Los Angeles Theater on Saturday, April 6

I’ve got a suggestion for your upcoming Friday, September 21. Head to downtown L.A. and make your way to the Novo to dance the night away with Flight Facilities and Classixx. It’s a 100% fun night guarantee from me.

As for upcoming giveaways, it’s hard to pick just one to tip you off to, but here it is — Desert Daze at Moreno Beach! This Saturday afternoon (9/22, 12pm-3pm PT), you’ll have a shot at winning a pair of festival passes to hang in the desert with all these bands because nothing says fall like a warm desert festival.

*If you want to know what other giveaways we have scheduled every day of the year, follow me on Twitter (@acherrymary) for daily updates. I’m fun.
