Pan Caliente: Quince Night

Written by

We take a pause from promoting new music to shine a spotlight on a really great community event in Los Angeles that is near and dear to our hearts at Pan Caliente. Interestingly enough, it does have to do with music.

Sure there are big festivals with stacked lineups catering to the musica-indie scene now (ie: Tropicalia & the Sonora Tent at Coachella) but this coming Saturday, September 21st, there is a monster line up for a benefit show called Quince Night at the Lodge Room.  Quince Night brings together some of the bubblin’ musica-indie bands around LA and creates a fun filled backyard Quinceañera vibe. Donating all proceeds to the Non-Profit community organization created by HighSchool students, called Let’s Give. Let’s Give creates monthly volunteer opportunities via community, culture and global initiatives.

The Quince Night lineup boasts some heavy hitters, not to mention some Pan Caliente alumns. The line up for this year’s benefit is É Arenas, Jarina de Marco, Thee Sinseers, and The Altons! Monica Tribute to Selena will also perform and your truly will provide some tunes as DJ.

Here’s a playlist to get you in the mood to support this great cause and maybe persuade you to attend the event (snag your tickets here).
