You wanted a Musica Indie multi-day music festival in Los Angeles? You got it! (Well…technically Long Beach…but close enough!)
Tropicália, which made huge waves last year with a one-day event that included Café Tacvba alongside Los Tigres del Norte, released its 2018 line up this week.
And not only has Tropicália expanded to TWO days (Nov 3 & 4), but its Musica Indie depth is off the charts!
Get past the Cardi B & Morrissey fan traps and read the fine print. You can see that there are quality mids & baby bands aplenty:
Natalia Lafourcade, The Marías, Porter, Leo Dan, Katzù Oso, Malacates Trébol Shop, Bronco, Mon Laferte, Combo Chimbita, Inspector, Quitapenas, Tropa Magica, and Los Ángeles Azules.
And if you just like indie music, they got you covered as well: Albert Hammond Jr, BADBADNOTGOOD, Vundabar, Mazzy Star, Mac Demarco, and Allah-las.
We were pumped last year and are twice as psyched this year about this show! Only thing in question now is… will there be tacos since the Moz is headlining [hand to face emoji].
