Influential BBC DJ Gilles Peterson made a rare West Coast trip recently for LA and SF club gigs and a special engagement at Sonos Studios in Hollywood, where he staged a live version of his acclaimed BBC6 radio show Worldwide for a packed house. Before he commenced this special edition of his program, Gilles sat with KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley to talk about his start as a DJ, the thriving London music scene in the '90s, and plans for his Brownswood record label going forward.
