When Dowdelin, who are based in Lyon with roots in Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Armenia, began to work together, they wrote their lyrics in English, but it didn’t feel right. Instead, they opted for Creole, and that’s how they got their groove.

Instead, they opted for Creole, and that’s how they got their groove. “Tan Nou” is a thick mix of Caribbean and West Indies culture.
