Laura Veirs: ‘Another Space and Time’

Laura Veirs let her artist’s intuition lead when it came to writing her 11th solo album — and it turned out that her songs knew she was getting divorced before she did. Part of a secret poetry group that met monthly; Veirs turned poems about cages, aging and the threat of apocalypse seep into songs but on “Another Space and Time” the exercise is to stand still and wait it out.
