Scott Shepherd and John Collins: Gatz

Hosted by

After magnificent success in New York and London, Scott Shepherd and John Collins, the star and the director of the full-length, seven-hour adaptation of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, join us live to talk about the evolution of the project, and their love of literature in general and Fitzgerald in particular. Gatz will be performing for a week at REDCAT in Los Angeles. Shepherd has reportedly learned the entire novel by heart; director John Collins is the founder of Elevator Repair Service, which has done productions of The Sun Also Rises and The Sound and the Fury. We explore the place where the love of the theater and the love of literature meet.
