Tyrone Drake Redesigns the Black Panthers' Ten-Point Plan

Hosted by

The revolutionary Black Panther Party was founded in Oakland, California, almost 50 years ago to challenge racism, police brutality and provide social services. One of the beneficiaries of the Panthers' free breakfasts was Tyrone Drake, raised in Oakland and now a graphic designer. Now he has turned his typographic skills to creating a contemporary, visual reinterpretation of the Panthers' "Ten-Point Plan," on display in a new exhibition at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
