Daniel Patterson and Roy Choi faced a steep uphill climb when they opened the first outpost of their fast-food chain Locol in Watts, back in 2016. The pair recently closed all Locol’s locations. But soon Patterson will open a new restaurant and an attached daytime coffee shop in the West Adams neighborhood. Alta Adams is a collaboration with chef Keith Corbin, a native Angeleno and Locol veteran.
