A Pollution Solution for Owens Valley

Hosted by

City of Los Angeles and Department of Water and Power officials reached a big agreement with Owens Valley air pollution officials over dust control in the Owens Valley. Owens Lake is about 200 miles north of LA near the Nevada/California border. That agreement is expected to save billions of gallons of water, in the city of LA’s effort to mitigate all the dust from a dried up lake bed. KCRW's Steve Chiotakis spoke with Kevin Roderick of LA Observed about the history of all the dust, and how the plan goes forward.
