FROM THIS EPISODE

Eric Garcetti has been mayor of Los Angeles for more than two years. He came into office after a hard-won fight, but with a different management style than his predecessor. He also came in when crime was on the decline, and the Great Recession was ending. But now, he has some troubling issues on his plate that are really testing his ability to govern the city. Those things could turn into political liabilities. KCRW's Steve Chiotakis spoke with Kevin Roderick from LA Observed.
