Barack and BiBi, DSK and Arnold; Newt's Stumble; Cornel West's Broadside

President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the White House on Friday, where the two leaders were clearly straining to reach compromises on the Middle East policy proposals outlined in Obama's speech the day before. Also, sex, power, morality, class, and gender are all in play in the sex scandals surrounding former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Plus, Newt Gingrich's 2012 presidential campaign hit a big stumbling block when he criticized the GOP budget plan. And the Truthdig report on Cornel West's broadside against Barack Obama. West, who believed in the potential for change as promised by the Obama campaign, now feels deceived, betrayed by "a black mascot of Wall Street oligarchs and a black puppet of corporate plutocrats".
