Competing for Republican Values; Bernie Surges

Hosted by , , and

Josh Barro says Donald Trump is going to win the Republican presidential nomination. Amy Walters says the latest Republican debate showed us "a much more disciplined, much improved Donald Trump... if establishment folks wanted to use this as another example of why Trump is off the rails, they didn't find it." On the other side, Bernie Sanders surges in the polls that suggest he can compete against Republican candidates. Bob Scheer says Sanders has emerged as the only interested part of this election. "Hillary Clinton is the Goldman Sachs candidate, let's not kid ourselves."

Josh Barro (New York Times) moderates from the Center. On the Left is Robert Scheer (TruthDig.com, Scheer Intelligence). Rich Lowry (National Review) is on the Right. And Amy Walter (Cooke Political Report) is our special guest.
