A company called Starcity has opened three dorm buildings in San Francisco, and they’re working on several more. Adults in their 20s-40s are paying $1400-2400 a month to live in 130-220 square feet bedrooms. They share kitchens and bathrooms. The monthly rent is $1400-2400. There are 8000 people on the waitlist for new units.
