Feds To Investigate Tesla’s Autopilot Cars Following Fatal Crash

Federal regulators launched an investigation Thursday into Tesla’s self-driving cars. That’s because a man was killed in May when his Tesla Model S crashed into a tractor-trailer in Florida. He was driving in the car’s semi-autonomous system. It’s called Autopilot, but that name is a little misleading. What does Autopilot do and what’s the future of driverless cars?
