Charter Communications has agreed to buy Time Warner Cable in a $56.7 billion deal. Cable king John Malone has been eyeing Time Warner for a while, waiting for his chance at the company.
This deal would make Charter the largest cable provider in Southern California, providing service to two million customers in the region. And it might mean Dodgers fans could watch games on TV again.
