Botox and Emotion

Botox: The telltale frozen foreheads and cheeks are ubiquitous symbols of vanity and status here in L.A. But recently, researchers have looked at other, non-cosmetic uses for Botox. One study published this year bolstered a theory that the injections may help relieve depression. The idea is that when our faces are less able to express negativity, our feelings follow along.
