Chinatown Rising

L.A.’s Chinatown has ceded most of its food prestige to the San Gabriel Valley over the past few decades. But lately the neighborhood has been getting its cuisine groove back with a spate of new, trendy restaurants like Pok Pok L.A., Chego and Little Jewel. Surprisingly, none of these new restaurants serve Chinese food.
