What are U.S. troops doing as migrants arrive at the border?

Six thousand U.S. military troops have been waiting at the border for the migrant caravan to arrive. President Trump ordered the troops there just before the election. They’re expected to stay until mid December. The overall scope of their mission isn’t exactly clear. KQED’s John Sepulvado took a tour of the border, and talked with some troops.
