Chris Hedges: A voice against collective narcissism

Hosted by

Chris Hedges was part of a group of reporters at the New York Times who won a Pulitzer Prize in 2002 for their reporting on global terrorism. He is also the author of several books, including War Is a Force that Gives Us Meaning and most recently Wages of Rebellion: The Moral Imperative of Revolt. In their conversation, Hedges tells Robert Scheer why he became ordained as a Presbyterian minister and how sees religion as similar to art. He also discusses the phenomenon of collective narcissism in the current election. And he speaks about his father's integrity as one of the most important influences in his life.
