Filmmaker Danny Boyle

Hosted by
The Business contributor John Horn of the L.A. Times sits down with Oscar-winning filmmaker Danny Boyle to talk about his film 'Trance' and the producing of the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics. Boyle spent two years planning, preparing and orchestraing the spectacular event for the Summer Games. So, in order to keep himself from being driven crazy by the slow, committee-heavy process he also directed a stage play of 'Frankenstein' and he made his new movie 'Trance.' He talks about how the Olympics affected the movie and vice versa, why he wanted to make a film with a strong female character, and that he took the Olympics job because it was his national duty.
