Writer Nell Scovell on her years in TV and 'Just the Funny Parts'

Hosted by

When David Letterman admitted in 2009 to sleeping with female staffers, something inside TV writer Nell Scovell snapped. She wanted to speak out about how those relationships had affected her when she had worked for Letterman years earlier. She feared retaliation, but spoke out anyway. Scovell, who has worked on TV shows from ‘Newhart’ to ‘NCIS’ to ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch,’ explains why she decided to take the risk of writing in Vanity Fair about her experience working for Letterman. And she tells us about her new book, ‘Just the Funny Parts.’
