A federal judge in LA has dismissed a lawsuit over how much actors should be paid when they perform in small theaters. They maintained in the case that the union’s proposal calling for owners of theaters with fewer than 100 seats to pay its union actors minimum wage was detrimental to the local theatre community. This has been a contentious back-and-forth in LA’s theatre community.
