Having premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, Grandma showcased a new domain for Paul Weitz – the low-budget indie flick. The writer-director discusses the shift in his comedic career from films like American Pie and About a Boy to a DIY project as well as his interest in highlighting the necessary reintroduction of "women’s history" into youth culture.
