FROM THIS EPISODE

Director Susanna Fogel started her film career at a time when a film like Bridget Jones’s Diary set the stage for female filmmakers. In her film “The Spy Who Dumped Me”, she takes on the traditionally male-centric action genre with the help of stars Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon. Today on The Treatment, she discusses breaking out of the traditional female perspective in this film and how her work has changed over the years.

(L) Kate McKinnon, (C) Susanna Fogel, (R) Mila Kunis.
