Breakthrough

Hosted by

Jonathan Brody is an accomplished cancer researcher. And a few years ago, he gave a speech at his alma mater saying that people in his field really needed to think outside the box if they were going to find a cure. After the talk he was approached by his old orchestra teacher Anthony Holland who had something way out of the box—a theory that he could kill cancer cells with sound waves. This and other stories about the lengths we go in pursuit of breakthroughs.
