There are so many facts about the world that we take for granted, without ever questioning how we know them. Of course the Earth revolves around the sun. Of course my dog loves me. But how do we know we know? It's rare that ever we stop to consider the evidence for our most closely held beliefs. This week, we try to unspool some of life's certainties down to their cores, to see if we actually know what we're talking about.
