Police and Protestors Clash in Baton Rouge

Hosted by

In Baton Rouge last week, police killed a black man named Alton Sterling outside a convenience store where he’d been selling CD’s. Democratic Governor Jon Bel Edwards has been praised by black leaders for the civil rights investigation he helped to get underway. And last night, demonstrators were peacefully assembled on a private homeowner’s lawn when police in riot gear pushed them into the street and then arrested them. Reporter Bryn Stole was there for The Advocate.
