The US Announces Charges against Khalid Sheikh Mohammed

Hosted by

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four alleged co-conspirators have been ordered to stand trial before a war crimes tribunal at Guantánamo Bay. They're accused of masterminding the attacks against the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and one other target on September 11, 2001, attacks that left 2976 people dead. The Pentagon says charges could lead to the death penalty. Josh Meyer, longtime terrorism correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, has followed the story for years and has co-authored the book, The Hunt for KSM: Inside the Pursuit and Takedown of the Real 9/11 Mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
