Facing Opposition, Obama Intel Czar Pulls Out

Another high-level Obama appointee has withdrawn after complaints about past behavior. Chas Freeman was chosen to head the National Intelligence Council, but became a target of Israeli interests in Washington and of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In an email obtained by Foreign Policy magazine, he says, "The tactics of the Israel Lobby plumb the depths of dishonor and indecency."
