'March:' Civil Rights Pioneer Tells His Story in a Graphic Novel

book.jpgIt's been almost 50 years since non-violent demonstrators risked their lives in a march from Selma to Birmingham, Alabama — a major event in the history of the civil rights movement. Now, one of the leaders has created a new kind of monument with appeal to people too young to remember. Georgia Congressman John Lewis has co-authored an unusual graphic novel with special appeal to people too young to remember.
