McCarthy Stuns GOP by Dropping Out of Speaker Race

A political earthquake today on Capitol Hill. After making a pitch to the Republican caucus today, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy told reporters he had the votes to replace John Boehner as House Speaker. But then, McCarthy dropped out, stunning a Republican Conference meeting, "I'll stay on as majority leader but one thing I found from talking to everybody is if we want our party to be strong we need a new face to help do that."
