The controversial "bathroom law" is facing a tough challenge from professional and college sports leagues pulling out of North Carolina.
The Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, HB 2, is North Carolina's new law, also known as "the bathroom bill." It's aimed at anti-discrimination protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. HB 2 provides that individuals may not use bathrooms that don't correspond to the sexual designations on their birth certificates. Now, in a state where sports may be more important than politics, it's facing a challenge from both the NCAA and Atlantic Coast Conference.
