Yahoo scans millions of user emails

Yahoo has reportedly gone where other email providers fear to tread — at least as far as we know.

Email providers are known to have cooperated with FISA, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, when it comes to individual email subscribers. Chris Soghoian, principal technologist for the American Civil Liberties Union, calls the news "unprecedented and unconstitutional."
