Former CIA Director Tenet Goes Public

Hosted by

Last night, it was 60 Minutes and tonight it's Larry King Live, in a publicity blitz for George Tenet's new book, At the Center of the Storm.  He claimed the Bush Administration ignored good intelligence in its rush to war in Iraq, but admitted that former Secretary of State Colin Powell got bad intelligence when he made the case at the UN Security Council that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Retail sales did not begin until this morning, but Condoleezza Rice was already leading the backlash on yesterday's televised talk shows over Tenet's claim that his famous "slam dunk" phrase was used to make him a scapegoat for intelligence failures.  Tenet admits there was bad intelligence, but he claims good intelligence was ignored.  Why didnt he speak up sooner? Does he "tell all" or only part of the story?
