Nazi-Confiscated Art Trove Recovered in Munich

Hosted by

Last year, German authorities were investigating Cornelius Gurlitt for tax evasion. They found evidence that led to a raid on his Munich apartment, where they made an extraordinary discovery: 1400 paintings believed to have been confiscated by Nazis from Jews. Works of Picasso, Matisse and other masters.  Not since the end of World War II has such a collection of art been discovered. Today, they released some results of the find, as we hear from Anne Webber, co-founder and co-chair of the Commission for Looted Art in Europe.
