A Northwest Airlines flight from San Diego to Minneapolis-St. Paul overshot its destination by more than 100 miles. It landed safely, with 149 passengers aboard, but it's still not clear what happened. Out of contact with air controllers for 78 minutes, the pilots insist they were distracted by a heated conversation, but the FBI and others aren't so sure.
