For 2000 years, the Roman Catholic Church has regarded gays and lesbians as “intrinsically disordered.” Now, for the first time, a Synod of bishops has proclaimed they have “gifts and qualities” that could be welcomed.

The first Synod of Bishops called by Pope Francis has stunned the Roman Catholic world.
