Two stories about busting down the door to show business, recorded live at the 2014 Riot LA Alternative Comedy festival held in downtown Los Angeles. (This episode originally aired on February 11, 2014.)

First… Before you knew Andrew Daly from his roles on Mad TV, Eastbound and Down, or his upcoming program Review on Comedy Central, he was willing to take any job to make his first foray into the big time…. ANY job.

Andy "Andrew" Daly was one of the earliest students of the Upright Citizens Brigade when they arrived in New York in 1996, and has been improvising in their theaters ever since. He is the star and executive producer of the Comedy Central series ReviewHe has appeared in such films as Semi-Pro, Yogi Bear, The Informant! and Transformers 3, and television shows such as Eastbound & Down, The Office, Modern Family, Comedy Bang Bang, Drunk History, Delocated, The Life and Times of Tim, Reno 911, Crossballs and MADtv

 

Then… A story from hard working actor and comedian Matt Jones. He's instantly recognizable as the lovable drug dealer "Badger" from Breaking Bad, or for his current role on the CBS series Mom. Back when he was a struggling actor hustling for work, he was not above bending the truth to get two lines on The Gilmore Girls

Matt L. Jones is best known for his role as Brandon "Badger" Mayhew on AMC's Breaking Bad. He appeared on How I Met Your Mother, and Reno 911! and the NBC comedy series Community. He has appeared in over 40 commercials. He is also a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and I.O. West in Los Angeles, California. He has provided voices on the Cartoon Network series Adventure Time. He currently portrays Baxter in the CBS sitcom Mom.
