Italian prosecutors are asking the US for the extradition of 13 CIA operatives, accused of kidnapping an Egyptian cleric in Italy and transporting him back to Cairo where he was allegedly tortured. Today, the case took a twist when it was reported that Italian official approved of the CIA mission, known as "rendition." Since 9-11 more than 100 other cases just like this have taken place. What international laws apply, particularly between two allied countries? In the war on terror, how big a difference is there between American and European perspectives? Guest host Diana Nyad talks to a journalist in Italy, and experts in international law, human rights and counter-terrorism.
