Arts after the LA Riots

Hosted by
The riots of 1992 were a profound moment for Los Angeles that is still with us in many ways. Their tenth anniversary has provided ample opportunity for retrospection about causes and affects, and assessments of social, economic and political progress. Yet perhaps nowhere is the impact of the uprising more evident than in the arts, which help to shape the way we look at the world around us. We talk to four artists who work in photography, painting, literature and architecture about how they were changed and how their new and different views of the world might change ours.
