Personal, moral or religious exemptions won’t be allowed if Governor Brown signs a bill passed today by the State Assembly. The Senate originated the measure, which would require vaccination of all children entering kindergarten. It passed both houses by big margins, but opponents plan a court challenge and, possibly, a referendum. First, it has to go to Governor Brown. Jeremy White covers the Capitol for the Sacramento Bee.
