Diversity within Diversity: 'Latinos' in Los Angeles

The results are still coming out from last year's census, and it's no surprise that Hispanics still account for most of California's growth, although the rate slowed down in the last decade. In Los Angeles, "Hispanics" increased by about two percent to almost half of the total. But "Hispanic" is a made-up word, as is "Latino." KCRW's Christian Bordal went to Loyola-Marymount University and the streets of Pico Union, North of the 10 Freeway and West of the 110, to find out what's in a name.
