With city council members Laura Chick and Mike Feuer running for city controller and city attorney, respectively, up for grabs are two seats that could ultimately create a new dynamic on the council. Harold Meyerson, executive editor of the LA Weekly, foresees a fundamental ideological shift in Chic's 3rd District with two moderate Democrats and two conservatives facing off for her West San Fernando Valley seat. He calls Tom Hayden a likely runoff contender for Feuer's 5th District which stretches from Van Nuys and Studio City to Westwood and the Fairfax district. (Kyle McKinnon guest hosts.)
