Election Day in L.A.

Hosted by
President Bush and John Kerry may be strangers to California, but that does not appear to have lowered the turnout. By noon, a sampling in LA County showed the turn-out up by 6% over what it was 4 years ago. In this special hour-long Election Day Which Way, LA?, we talk to LA County-s top voting official and to the Field Poll, California-s oldest survey, as well as poll workers in a couple of busy precincts, black and young voters. We'll get the word on electronic voting machines statewide, and learn about San Francisco-s experiment with the Instant Runoff.
