Proposition 10: Environmental Protection or Corporate Giveaway?

Proposition 10 was put on next month's ballot by the Clean Energy Fuels Corporation in Seal Beach. It's owned by the Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens and produces natural gas. The $5 billion bond measure would provide more than $3 billion in rebates for vehicles that run on alternative fuels, including natural gas. The rest of the money would fund research and development of renewable energy technology.
