Amid accusations of influence peddling, Los Angeles officials have bickered for months over the new contract to operate the city-owned Greek Theatre. While the House of Blues is offering more money, the city appears to be leaning to the current operator, the well-connected Nederlander family. Is this an example of city politics at its worst, or are other factors at play here?
