After six years in Sacramento, one of Governor Schwarzenegger's top advisors said today, "Every year, both sides retreat to their respective partisan corners and nothing gets done." The last week of this year's legislative session is a classic example, and the pattern will likely continue for a long time to come. But candidates in both parties are lining up to run for Governor next year.
